Clients of Reformatics improve their rank in Doing Business

On October 24th the World Bank published the Doing Business 2020 report. The client countries of Reformatics improved their positions in the ranking:

Kazakhstan is among the top 25 countries in the world by ease of doing business. This year Kazakhstan improved its position in four indicators: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting credit, and paying taxes. The overall score of Kazakhstan improved by 1.6 points. According to the Doing Business 2020 report, Kazakhstan has a better business regulation than a number of developed countries, such as Iceland, Austria, Japan, Spain, France, Israel, Switzerland and The Netherlands. During the last five years, as a result of consultancy services provided by Reformatics, Kazakhstan has improved its position by 52 places, from the 77th place in DB 2015 to the 25th place in DB 2020. 
This year Uzbekistan’s performance improved in 8 out of 10 indicators of the Doing Business report. Reforms were implemented mainly in the following areas: protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, and enforcing contracts. 
A country in Western Africa improved its DB score by 3.4 points that is the second highest amelioration among African countries. 8 out of 10 indicators were improved, whereby major reforms were implemented in six indicators: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, trading across borders, and enforcing contracts.
Since 2013 Reformatics has successfully consulted a number of countries worldwide to improve their business environment, including their position in the Doing Business report. Client countries of Reformatics have been among the best reformers per DB report by the WBG and have stably demonstrated progress over years.
