COUNTRY OF EASTERN EUROPE

Within the framework of our consultancy project in a country of Eastern Europe which prefers to remain anonymous, Reformatics assisted and supported the government of this country to design a five-year economic development programme aimed at accelerating economic growth and improving competitiveness.
Reformatics provided 60 specific recommendations for reform in 8 areas such as a) enhancement of macro-economic and fiscal sustainability, as notably reflected in the investment-grade credit rating, b) support to entrepreneurship and creation of a friendly environment for business development, c) delivering public services through a citizen-centred approach, d) better targeting of social assistance to assist the most needy, e) improving the financing of education, f) providing affordable and effective healthcare to citizens, g) improving the performance and privatization of state-owned enterprises, h) creating jobs and diversifying the economy by stimulating investments in flagship projects.
Most of our recommendations were endorsed by the government in question and integrated in the reform plan.
