Within the framework of our consultancy project in this Eastern European country, which prefers to remain nameless, Reformatics provided strategic consulting in connection with the World Bank’s DB annual report, government service delivery and streamlining of service delivery procedures, corporate taxation, relations with credit rating agencies and investment banks, attracting FDI and achieving robust growth.
Our experts developed a set of recommendations and practical, tailor-made advice to improve the country’s DB ranking through regulatory reform and government service delivery simplification, as well as its macro-economic competitiveness through economic and fiscal reform. In addition, recommendations on sectoral policies were also developed in the area of education, healthcare, public procurement and pension systems.
Thanks to Reformatics’ advice, the country achieved a relatively high growth rate in 2014 and 2015 if compared with regional peers, and improved its competitiveness—as reflected in the upgrade of its sovereign credit rating by Moody’s.
