Reformatics developed recommendations related to mechanisms for targeting foreign companies to attract investment from selected markets, provided a comprehensive analysis of existing trade agreements with up to 30 countries and identified export opportunities from Kazakhstan to these markets, arranged study visit of the Kazakh delegation to Georgia for experience sharing on reforms in tax & customs, public registry and migration, developed specific and tailor-made recommendations aimed at improving the performance of embassies in view of FDI attraction and at increasing efficiency of coordination between the embassies and the capital.
Within the framework of the project, Reformatics conducted a comprehensive survey of investors to determine their level of satisfaction and identify problematic issues, arising during investment activities. As a result, concrete, actionable recommendations were delivered to the Client aimed at addressing concerns expressed by the investor community. Reformatics also elaborated a methodology for the annual investor satisfaction survey. The methodology will make it possible to have comparable results and subsequently develop respective reform measures.
